You have to have the antenna relocation kit for it to work. I'd take a pic of mine, but the bike is under a cover, hibernating for the winter.

This is very similar except mine is mounted on the rail for the detachable TP.

I have Streetglidecota's ebay inside fairing antenna no complaints. I use a Y adapter(Goggle Metra Y adapter) and leave both antenna's cabled up all time no swapping.

would you be able to get the y-adapter at radioshack or an auto parts store?

Oh and the kit should have come with antenna relocation bracket maybe it's already there usuall left side near rear fender
Same here and the kit came with a adapter so the TP cable could plug in where ant mast was removed at fender location

This. There should be a cable coming off of the tour-pack (only about a foot long or so) that screws on to the fender mount.

Default antenna

I hid mine in the fairing...works great, don't know why some don't work? You can lay antenna cables...radio and c.b.(if you have both) in the side saddlebags with short whips.

This is what I did. Used the HD radio bracket and made one for the CB antenna. Doesn't contact the tour pak at all.
