I just received and installed my new MGS blemished slip on exhaust from MGS Custom Bikes as for the chrome I don't see any flaws or defects with the chrome they look really good. The installation is quick and easy. And for the sound they sound great a good deep rumble the way a Harley should sound I installed these slips on's onto my 2013 FLHX Street glide. I did notice a bit more torque and power then my 3.5" rineharts that I removed. Cruising on the highway at 90 miles an hour the mgs slips on sound nice.
Interested in the True Duals head pipes only. They would have no problem mating to a pair of S&S SPO slip ons right? Anyone else use these MSG headers with another slip on pipe?

MGS does make two different TD head pipes. Different diameters at the end of the head pipe for different applications. Make sure you get the right ones and there is no reason they wouldn't work.
I just got my 2014 Street Glide home this week. MGS true duals, SE heavy breather, and dyno tuned using the Harley SE tuner. So far, I'm very happy with the MGS true duals. They look great and sound even better (I got the loud baffle). I've only put on 25 miles so far, though. (It's still under 40 degrees up here in North Dakota).
I just picked up the dyno sheet from the dealer yesterday. Max horsepower was 87.35. Max torque was 106.42 ft-lbs. I'm not very knowledgeable on most of this, but the service manager said the 106.42 is very high. (He thought it was a mistake when he first saw it).
My only hesitation would be that your passenger's left ankle/lower leg will sit pretty close to the pipe coming out of the back cylinder. I typically ride by myself, but I wonder if this might not be uncomfortably close for a passenger???
Thanks for sharing and those at great numbers! I will have to check out the clearance with passenger too as the wife would be upset with the hot foot. Hope it's a non issue cause I want these
Daisy dukes and flip flops it's going to be a huge problem. Good pair of boots and jeans no problem at all. Wife had no probs 5800 miles to California and back.
I should have kept reading, that is great to hear man
I have them on my 09 Street Glide. Excellent fit and finish. Sounds and performs great!! Highly recommend them. The reverse cut tips are a real eye catcher!
After reading this I went with these on my '14 SGS.....I love the deep rumble sound. Just had my bike ran on the dyno yesterday. I put on SE Heavy Breather Elite, SE Race Tuner, and the MGS Custom True Duals.
Bike made 85 HP and 108 ftlb TQ. Pretty happy with the results although I thought I would be in the 90's on HP. But torque is what throws you back in the saddle, so I am very happy with with that. My dealer tunes for all around runablility and it does run great.
