I got a string and used a shop vac to suck it through the bars, taped my wires to the string and pulled them right trough. I wish I knew about this trick, it would have save me a lot of time messing around with mechanics wire.

Good luck.
I think I'm pretty lucky with the bars I'm installing -- they're Roland Sands Convoy bars, which have an opening at each corner, so I used a needle-nose pliers to help push/pull everything through when it got hung up. My string broke halfway through and I would have been dead without those access points for the pliers.

A day and a half later and I'm finally finished -- for now. I buttoned everything back and up and started it but didn't ride because I'm tired. It's throwing error codes galore.

Check engine is on, cruise control is flashing, it wouldn't start until I put it in neutral even with the clutch in. Here's the codes:

P0132
P0501
P0572
P1512
P2122
P2127
P2138

It's always something...

not sure why the codes on your install, I had mine all apart to put new bars and heated grips on and everything worked fine at the end of the day, maybe check all your connections for bent pins is all I can suggest

The neighbors are still loving me. I get up this morning, gear up, climb on and start her up, drop into first, roll on the throttle -- and there's nothing. No throttle response. At all.

So... Roll it back into the garage and think about wtf to do next.

I obviously screwed up with twist grip sensor along the way, even though I babied it more than my high school girlfriend when I was trying to get her to give it up for the first time. It's throwing codes and the cruise control light keeps flashing.

It's times like this that I wonder why I don't just pay a shop to f*ck things up for me.

Problem solved: the green connector came unplugged while I was running the wiring. Plugged it back together and cleared the codes and it's all good to go now.
