They are not for everyone, if you never have a rider, then no need, however if you have a lazy leg or short legged rider then they can be used when they ride.......each to his own

In my opinion they will scratch your lids. It's just like the plastic cell phone cases...in the end, they will scratch the back of your phone.

web site says they do not touch except the front & back that are coated.

I can just see the rider behind you when the clear cover blows off and hit him or her in the face.

So the wind can up underneath em and they can vibrate on your paint and leave scratches. Isn't that what bras do and that's why the paint underneath gets jacked?.

I dont see those staying clear to long between the sun and washing them and normal use thats a pretty good penny down the drain

Well I bought a pair to try. When the weather gets a little nicer we will see what they do or don't do to my lids.
