Been pricing cams for my 2006 RKC, Harley dealer quoted 1,400.00 for SE 203 cams and oil pump and all accesories and labor. Talked to the good folks at fuelmoto and they suggested the tw555-6r cams, was told by them to call Bob Woods' place and talk to him (sure he has time for me). Well he did and was very kind and talked to me about the tc 555-6r cams and the kit for the oil pump. This kit is around 1,100.00.
What do I do, Se cams or order kit and pay dealer for labor, I cant do this kind of mods. Thanks Dale

I'm not familiar with those specific Woods cams, but in general, Woods cams tend to be very noisey. This to me is a deal breaker and the very reason i decided against them when i did my 107 build. No doubt, Woods makes a quality cam that produces good power, but i don't want my engine to sound like it's got marbles bouncing around in it. All i'm saying is do some research and know what you are getting before you pull the trigger.

I've heard that as well and will say HQ cams are the same way. But you can't argue with results. Both make great cams that make power. I didn't buy Woods cams because I also called Bob Woods and he was an arrogant jackass.

Not true in a twin cam. Usually less noisy or as noisy as stock.
I think it's a crap shoot, a good friend had wood 7's in his '07 103" and he took them out, they were way too loud according to him.
They are noisy if you use the stock push rods as the cam is .010 smaller than stock. Adjustable push rods solve this but some still use stock push rods to save a buck. I am generalising as most comment ive heard on noise have been favorable in the twin cam.

Exactly, i've read many threads about guys taking them out because they were unhappy with the noise. The more aggresive cams tend to be more noisey. I didn't feel like rolling the dice. There are plenty more options out there.
