Default Winter project in Michigan
Well it cold as SH*T here and I have plenty of time on my hands. So I was looking at the bike and thought those bolts on the engine and other areas need to go. So I looked at prices for chrome/stainless or Hot Toppers.

Well this is what I came up with a grinder and and buffing wheel and compond.

I polish them and apply wax. All it requires is time and they look great on the bike.

It might not last forever but it looks good now and its FREE!

The pictures at the bottom are the before pictures.

Yep, only takes about a minute per bolt.

A dab of clear nail polish in the hex works good to keep that spot from rusting after installation.
