Stock brake line works fine! I probably could have routed the clutch correctly but just didnt wanna take the chance. Thanks for all the comments guys!
I put the 10" PY Bagger apes on, my brke line was really tight, I had to fab up a bracket and move the union under the trees to the right about 2" for it to work. That is on my 06 EGC. I re routed my clutch cable to go behind the cap over the ignition switch, Plenty of slack this way, but way too tight in the stock location.
So it was bothering the crap out of me lol. I pulled the outer fairing off and re-routed the clutch cable. A little tight at full lock but I rarely go full lock lol.
This bike with the 3" bars is about perfect. I still think a set of 9" bars would be ideal, but I like the height of these better than the 10" bars

I agree... 9 would be ideal, but the 8 here is far better then 10 for staying behind the fairing, getting good lift, and good looks.
I am trying to figure out the Wild 1 578 now. They claim they are 10, and it says they are 2.5 lower then the 577. Well if the 575 are 10, and the 578 are 10, they sure look like a different 10. I guess one is more 10 up and the other has more pull pack bringing that 10 back further keeping it looking lower. There are pics on the site, and they remind of the Yaffee 10 classic bagger apes. Which, like the Monkey apes at 10 are a hair above fairing height it seems.
Although.. I did find something odd... I brought up the wo575 to compare to the 578 for a reference and I saw some pics of the 575 that looked tall, and others that looked lower. Guess its where people have em sitting.
Ehh, I dont really like them to be honest. Seems that most that run them down only run one. Not saying they will look good up either. Kinda jackelope looking I would imagine.
I got some little Ness Rad mirrors. They are small and black also. I had some mirrors kinda like the Ness on my FXST that were pretty much worthless so Im in the habit of looking down and back anyway when I change lanes. The Rad ones should be no different, if nothing else I think there smaller.
