do you have the parts break down pricing? what did you pay if you don't mind me asking. I've talked to 3 different dealers and was quoted 3 different parts totals...from $ 369 to $642 in parts ????????????????
No pics yet but mine went on pretty easy. I used the HD recommended cable and internally wired them without extending any wires. I don't have any seat time yet so I can't comment on the comfort.
I ordered the WO 578 which are 10" and it seems you do not need to extend the cables. I bought them for $ 186 from the HD dealer with the 15% discount. They should be here in a couple of weeks.
Well I bought a set of these new wo578 bars and started the installation tonight, everything went very smoothly and the bars were a breeze to pull the wires through.
However looks like I'll be ordering +4" throttle cables, front brake line and clutch.
The stock clutch will work but it is a little tight and since I definitely need the brake line and throttle cables might as well do all 3 so everything matches.
Will post pictures after I get everything buttoned back up in a few days.
Sitting on the bike they feel great, I like the added height and a much improved wrist angle over stock.
OK Looks interesting. Like the looks of the HD bars. What is the difference between the 57474-11 chrome & the WO578? Most likely do it myself. What all do I need to change? Clutch Cable, Brake Cable, TBW cables? How much longer or what are the lengths of each? I put the 2" pullbaks on my 09 street glide a few years ago took about 4 hours taking my time. Helped but could use just a little more? Thanks for any help.
