I had a fuel pack on my 09 SG with VH Monster Ovals and a SE heavy breather...pretty basic stuff. Had bad decel popping that I never could get rid of. VH pretty much was worthless customer service wise. I now have a Power Vision from Fuel Moto with their map on my 12 CVO SG and it is flawless.
Edit your post and do a poll..
You'll get more responses that way, rather than having everyone sound off individually about what tuner that they have..
There's a **** load of people on this forum...
Know what I mean Vern?
I ran a fuelpak on my fltru for about a year plenty of power and engine did run cooler only problem I had was sometimes engine would stuble off idle and if not very careful engine would die leaving stop lights . Contacted V&H and made suggested changes but to no avail. This fall I purchased a power vision and mostly satsfied with it i do have a pinging under hard acceleration I contacted Jamie and got a revised map and it didn't help so i will be contacting Fuel Moto this spring to get some new adj. to my map.
07 SG - I had the V&H FP when I did the Stage 1 but when I went to the 103 w/ 255's, never could get it dialed in right. Put in a PCIII & spent a few hours on the dyno building two different maps, cold & hot weather. Considered stepping up to one of the Auto-Tuners but never got to it.
I am running thundermax on my FLHTK. I would recommend it if you are planning more engine mods down the road. If you are just happy with stage 1, I would not recommend it. The expense is really high for simple engine mods. Good luck with your fp.
