Did you remove Maxi-fuse before changing bars?

Default Did you remove Maxi-fuse before changing bars?
Didn't know that was necessary but manual says so. Does it give an error if ya don't remove it, and unplug stuff or something?

I knew I would need to learn a few more things with a touring bike with a fairing and tourpak but didn't realize how much. Sheesh.

Wonder what some of those other hidden gems will be as I continue my ownership.

No, I didn't. Completed the entire thing without anything other than disconnecting the wire connectors as required.

Good luck with your swap...

changed bars today and no I didn't remove the fuse and no problems.
