Really think these cranks are going to need to be welded to withstand all the fun you are going to have!!! Time will tell as usual.

Most prices were coming in around $3,000ish. After giving it a bit more thought I realized that I could get the 120R for $4,700, hell that's only $1,700 more. Of course I still need the Throttle body ($350ish), Injectors ($120) and exhaust ($650). But now I have a true performance engine. Though I may swap out the cams.
Just noticed that you mentioned exhaust. I have V&H true dual headers. Will they work, or is there a header needed that is specific to the 120R?

They will work, but to truly reap all the benifits from this engine a 2/1 pipe (i.e. BorZilla or Dragula) would be ideal.

Yep, I realize that. I'm going to leave a little power on the table for now.

About 1k, I believe the kit inlcudes the Throttle Body. I decided on the crate for the simple fact of still having a complete motor to keep or sell.

what was the budget on this build Mike? I have a 05 Ultra with 120,000 + kms or in US speak 65,000+, its runs strong but when the time comes, like the tread says 120r crate or SS crate or rebuild and go big[ger].
