I ordered 2 sets of Spike nuts from Wintec Fabrication January 11th, received confirmation of my order the next day and have been waiting since then for the parts to arrive.
I have emailed Wintec twice to 2 different email addys (thinking it would improve my chance of a response) and have had no replies.
Would anyone know if they are still 'alive' as a company?
I just ordered some spike nuts last night from them I hope that I don't have the same experience I will let you know if I get a conformation or anything

Big thanks Bobby866-- much appreciated!
I have to say for ~$14 spend on the spike nuts I wouldn't bother making an international call to them if I can't get through via email....
FTR, their phone system is live (203) 294-1339 - Just called and got the answering system.
If I think of it, I'll try calling tomorrow. They're worth the wait, but that seems awfully long - Even to Oz.
While you're waiting, keep in mind that you're going to need several "mixed" washers that will fit inside the mount -- I used sealing washers (rubber/metal, slightly concave), plus a few metal, plus one or two rubber washers. You need to build up around a 1/2" or so to take up some of that thread and keep the stud outside of the mount.

Thanks John, I recall your post, which was why I wanted to do that mod. I have to say I'm a bit concerned about no reply to my email queries.
AFAI can tell my CC hasn't been debited, but need to check again.
