I have just put Arlen ness hot legs on my 09 sreet glide and I have on order a Klock werks wrapper fender, my question is with the new forks and different fender I cannot seem to figure out how to make them mount up. The ness legs are almost like stock Harley legs and the new fender doesn't have the same mounts it is rivet less with out the notch in the fender, can some one give me an idea about how to make it work with out hacking it up thanks D
The fender is per drilled and uses Klock werks fender spacers that are half moon cut to match the fork tube the problem is that the bracket on the fork tube is really meant for a stock type fender and I can't give pics I don't have the fender yet
My FBI brackets mount to the fork tubes just like the stock ones do. Sorry not much help, maybe call the vendor that you purchased it from and make sure you received the correct brackets for that fender.
Its not hard, had to do it even with a ness fender. The block sticks out quite a bit on the hot legs. Do measureing from bolt holes, build a cardboard template of what needs to be cut out in reference to the mount hkles, once template is perfect, trace the notch to fender. Cut cut, sand smooth and send to paint.
Yeah I wish it was more user friendly but I was on the phone with ness today and they will machine a block spacer for me and the fender comes per drilled so hope fully all will line up I will have to see thanks for the replys D
