Where the he'll is the weather anyway?
Have had my bike for about a year and have been pretty careful about avoiding bad weather. Hate riding in the rain. Well then, I left this morning at 6:15 and headed in bound towards DC looking forward to the unseasonal temperature expected of 70 degrees and sunny skies. 8 hours later I was sitting at every traffic light outbound getting really wet. Really wet. I couldn't take the highway due to the severity of the rain so I used the thru town route. I think at one point I mactually farted under water. My stereo was up pretty loud to help me NOT think of the rain and as I pulled up to was my 15th red light the Temptations started into I Wish it Would Rain. The guy next to me had to have seen me laughing. . .

Don't you just love planning a great ride and then having it get washed out? Right now I would trade this snow, sand, salt and other stuff to be riding in a rain storm in 70 degree weather. Guess I have to wait a little bit for that.

The other day I was headed down I81 out of Syracuse (in a truck), and saw a guy on a bike. Thermometer in the truck said 38 degrees and it was raining pretty hard. Couldn't help but wonder if he knew what he was getting into when he left the house.
