I happened to be looking at my breather tubes, thinking they need replaced as they have some dry rot when I noticed "barb" without a tube connected to it. It has a piece of tube still on it. If you were standing on the right side of the bike looking over the left side if the air cleaner the barb I'm talking about is just to the right of the left breather tube, just down a bit.
I'll try to take a picture tomorrow and point out what I'm talking about. Again, I can see where a tube of some sort connected to it but I can't tell where it went or where it should go.
The bike is running fine. It's on an 04 EG, Fuel Injected.
