I'm recently a big fan of increased visibility, and actually like the look.

One and half years ago I got rear ended on my 09 Streetglide doing 55 on the interstate in a construction zone, 70 year old lady. She just didn't see me. No insurance either, cop said don't complain, I'm lucky to be alive.

I might have been even luckier with some extra lighting.

I got the saddle bag LED spoilers since then and I like them a lot.
This week I just ordered a tour pak with spoiler too. Not a bad look IMO.

What everyone else said about template having multiple patterns in case you want to do the big rack AND the spoiler. I did both myself, and am glad I did. The light is higher than my tail lights which I think helps get attention of drivers behind me. This is on my '02 Road King. Just picked up my new SG and ordered the King TP, with the same rack, and the same spoiler. That's what I think of it.

It's sitting in my bedroom at the moment, I only put it on when I need it. I have it for trip functionality, not for daily use. Let me know if you want pics and I'll dig some up and/or take a pic.

Adding a couple of pics as requested. The first 3 are older and show the TP w/Rack/Spoiler on the bike. The last two are on my bedroom floor, was trying to show more detail. Yeah, I know it's dirty . . . . get over it.

I would like to see those pictures of your TP with both the rack and spoiler, if you can find them. Thanks,

Here is a picture of my '09 with a rack and spoiler. I would trade straight across with anyone with an '09 UC with the same color.

A BAL 1 tail-light would have worked and saved you I would think for your 09.

Those things are very visible even for the visually impaired.

For your 11 I would think that if the spoiler has LED's you will be ok, otherwise?

I did upgrade to the Kuryakns version of BAL leds, and added the spoilers on the 11, problem solved as far as I am concerned with lighting.

The thing about the tour pak is, I just wanted to follow the spoiler pattern, like the way it looks, and I think adding that much without a light of some sort is not a good idea. I agree that adding the rack to the spoiler would be a bit much, one or the other would look better IMO, but not both.

If you really wanted both, look may like the air wing rack with LEDs.

I have both on my scooter. Kind of a pain in the rear to clean around but....I feel the more light on the back the better. Happy Trails....

If you like the idea of a high brake light, don't the 2 lights at the bottom of your TourPak work as running lights/brake lights? Mine do.
I also modified the wiring of my rear turn signals to operate as turn signals/brake lights and I put red lenses on them.
This makes a total of 5 brake lights and 3 running lights on the rear, including the tail light. For me, that's enough, but again, to each his own.
Yes, I've always had the harness that allows the tourpak lights to operate as turning/brake lights.....
And I've always had the license plate bracket with the 2 extra running/brake lights.....
And I've always run the Kuryakyn Panacea brake lights WITH the turn signal kit...
And I've always had the lighted turn signal bar with LED's...
And I've always had the Electra Glo saddlebag Light Rails...
And YES - I STILL want the spoiler LED light...
AND - now that I've been made aware of the HogLite.... I'm thinking I'd like that as well...
What's your point?

Is it a bike or a Xmas tree?

Oh and don't forget the headlight modulator ......
