Hey!! I don't post much but I'm here most every nite checkin out some good info from ya'll.
I gotta question, Now that it's gotten cold, I'm wearing my full face helmet. Well I can't hear my radio.
Is there any way I can hook up a jack to my speakers so I can put ear phones in my lid?
I'm ridding an 06' Street Glide with Hog tunes, 95"/203 cams and Renihart 2-1 with PC111
Thanks and Ya'll ride safe!!
Hi there Hammer, I live just south of Boston and sometimes have to put on full-face when the temp dips, even with it on I have no trouble hearin my tunes..I'm runnin Hog-Tunes speakers and I'm sure that helps. Are you usin stock speakers? If so that's part of the problem....Joe Mac
I installed a small jack at the bottom of the dash on my bagger that I can plug earplug/earbuds into.
I use Emotic(I think that's the name)ear buds & they work super with my modular FF helmet. I can hear my stereo with the helmet on with no problem but I just prefer the ear plug option at times.

Hey Joe Mac, I've got the Hog tune speakers, maybe it's my helmet, Shoei RF 1000. At 80 mph I can't hear my tunes. I miss not gettin in the zone with my tunes on the hwy.

What version of software is installed on your radio? If it is an older version the speaker volumn was set too low. Get the software upgraded and you may be able to hear it.
GermanyBert, I don't know, It's an 06' Glide so I figger it's up to date.
I'm going to talk to a friend of mine who knows about amps and guitars. He owns a music store and repairs alot of stuff so maybe he will shed some lite on this. I holler back when I find something out.
