Gonna look at a Street Glide today it's got the ABS I'm looking for and is in my price range. Don't know if I like Red Hot Denim or not. What are your thoughts on that color?
You are THE only human that can answer that question.
I bought a Black Denim Iron in '09 for the wife. I loved that paint (or primer, as some people call it) Ha! I insisted that my future FLHX would wear that color. So, with the wife's Iron being five years old now...It still looks as bitch'n as the day we got it! Through my (Denim) finish experience... I've discovered this: There are two kind of people. They either freaking love it (like me) And the people that hate it. Bottom like.
I've got the White Hot Denim and I love it.
I will say the denim paint is allot easier to take care of than gloss.
Just wash and dry. No waxing to worry about and no swirls to buff out.
Until you get a scratch, then you just have to live with it.
Can't buff out a scratch on denim.
Other than that fact, I like the denim colors.
I purchased an 09 RG with red denim paint last year. Was not crazy about the color but liked the bike. I know enjoy the unique color, get a lot of compliments and like not having to wax. Definitely will grow on you over time.
i dont mind some of the denium colors out there. the blue denium is out of this world! but the red? never saw one first hand. might look awesome with the rest of it all ''murdered out'' with flat or maybe even gloss black stuff to offset it a bit. but what do i know, i hate red anything!
