Default Monkey Bars size

Having a hard time deciding between PYO Monkey Bars either 10" or 12" bars. I like the 10" ones that are about even with the faring. But the 12" ones might be better for my height. Just trying to get my back in the best position for long rides. I am 5'11" what size would you go with at my height?

When I first wanted MMB's I wanted the 10's mainly because I didnt want my hands above the fairing. But the more I thought about it I decided if I was going to go with some type of ape hanger than I might as well go higher cause imo the 10's dont really look like apes to me so I was set on 12's. Well the day I was ready to order them and get everything thing set up with the dealer they talked me into 14's. I was a little skepitical because I thought that was getting up there in height and thought they might look stupid that high above the fairing. I told them to order the 14's anyways and was kinda worried the whole time they had the bike. It was going to be a expensive mistake if I didnt like them. Soon as I saw the bike when I picked it I was amazed at how well they looked. I'm 6' and they fit perfectly or could of been taller. Needless to say I wish I would of went with the 16's now. A lot of guys on here say that when in doubt go with the bigger size you'll be happy so thats what I did and they were right. Just now I wanna go even higher. Haha
Good luck in whichever you choose but I say skip over the 10's and 12's and go with the 14" MMB's.

I had 16" apes for ever im 5'11 and loved them they fit perfect on my road king. this time i went with 18" and love them even more.... I went with carlini gangster apes they are expensive but they are 1.5" and on a touring bike look way awsome... IMO 16" is perfect and think you will love the size... 10" and 12" are cool but think you will like the taller ones better....

5'10" here. Go at least 12s in the PYO. The hands above the fairing is no big deal. I'll bet you'd like 14s or 16s even better. I have pics of the 12s on my bike in my profile.

I'm 5'11" and had the 12in on my Street Glide and loved them. I put the 10" on my Road Glide and wish I would have went with the 12s on it. To much of a pia to change them now but if I ever do I will be going back to 12s.

I'm trying to make the same choice, likely going 12 but I notice one thing.
Most of the guys saying hands over the fairing is no big deal are from Texas, Florida, Arizona etc. Places where 45 degrees is considered cold. Here in Canada it is kind of nice to have your hands protected.
