So my bike sat for a couple months while the weather was poo poo. Ran into a small problem though... I turned the radio on and nothing but static. Checked all my connections (except under the hood) and found that I pinched both CB and Radio in the rear fender support covers... UGH! Once I corrected that situation, tucked them into the support cover, I can get a couple radio stations when scanning, but not even close to the ones I usually listen to.
Any suggestions... both cables have what looks like a fold where they were pinched. I will check under the hood just to make sure though
Current setup:

PS... I tried to post this in the Audio section of the Tech forum, but not much response there
im gonna say that when you pinched them you either broke the wire inside or on of the outside shielding wires im now touching the inner wire and is giving you your bad reception.
May have to replace the wires. Another possibility is go to and audio store and have them cut out and splice the spot where it got pinched. Thats where I would start.
