Had a big adventure on the way to work last night. Saw a deer run across in front of me so I backed way out of it since they usually travel in pairs or more but despite my best efforts to keep from hittin one I still wasn,t able to slow enough and hit one that came out of the shadows. I was able to keep the bike upright but it did a lot of damage to the RG when the deer wrapped around the front of the bike. Looks like the hand of God must have been on my shoulder last night. Things could have been so much worse than they were. I'm just really sore sore from the impact & hangin on to the bike . I'm glad to still be here to relate the story since the alternative could have been so much worse. Ride Safe Ya'll!

Damn man glad this dint end horribly!!! I was driving a van in Wisco a few years back along a country road at night and a deer crossed in front of me and i slammed on the breaks!!! As i was skidding another deer ran smack dab into the rear of my truck!! When i stopped i got out to check the damage (Not as bad as i thought!!!) And this dear was wobbling in the road, dazzed and confussed,seconds lator....Shook it off and away it went!!! Efin tough animals...Matting season is a BIOTCH!!!! Glad you are OK!!!

Glad to hear you are OK - we get deer all the time from the wooded areas I ride through on the way to work. I always try to scan as best I can when riding but the critters are pretty fast.
