I actually ordered a new inner fairing painted to match the color of my bike. It is not necessary to do that. When you removed the mirrors from the fairing there is a piece of chrome that is made to fill the hole were the mirrors were removed.

You can always cut them narrower and cut/file notches for the TBW.
