Looks like a alot of money and complication for just oil filters. I think the 5-10 dollar jobs have been working fine for years. Makes me wonder why they even bothered engineering something in this area. They could have spent that time on a building an oil cooler that has fans on it.....

Because HD knows that many riders really don't know anything about their bikes and when they telll them that this is better and you need to have it they know that the suckers.....mmmmm, I mean people will buy it.

BTW...if someone REALLY thinks they need this then check out NRHS Performance. They sell a better system for less than half the price PLUS the filter is reusable.

I posted a thread about this product several weeks ago and could get no one to say they have this system or know someone who does.

its best to keep what you have now,,,, why???
its a self protection program, every oil filter change, you loose about a 1/4 all over your bike
thus appling a protective coat, also, that eats at your rubber mounts.
aint it sweet

hdjoe88, Idid a search first before I posted a thread (as the HD Forum suggests)and it came up with "nothing found". Don't know why you didn't get any feedback on it at the time......Maybe it was still to NEW and no oneheard about it yet? GermanyBert, I think electaRick was talking about losing "1/4" amountof oil when you drain. (your oil). I think Germany Bert and lp got it correct.......Stick with the $5-10. job. It's a $ thing for HD and some of us WILL end upbuying it. What's wrong with using your own imagination to rig something up to catch the waste oil?Oil Cooler with a fan.......hmmm, maybe a good idea, maybe not. WHY don't they come up with correcting the f*&*^%ing humidity problemin our gauge/s!!??[sm=confused06.gif] Oh, I forgot, they said "it's normal". They come out with this Filtration system but cannot solve the humidity problem. (That's another story that STILL burns my a**)
...sorry, I guess I started to vent........

Thank you,
sambo42xa
