Default will it ever end?????

Will it ever end, w/o me dadgumm dieing?
Back in 07/07/08 I posted that my bike was finished,
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...f-my-bike.html well I lied!
Since then I have added two functional parts and no bling,
but yesterday was a brand new day. I bought two blings and
one functional. However it aint my all my fault, Harley and Cobra USA
can share the blame. Back in late 07 or early 08 there were no 259e cams
or stock 103 timming and dirby covers or quiet baffels for the Cobra
xtra long exhaust. Oh well life gose on, and my desire to ride has came
back to me in full force x 10

Hahahahahahaha now that is funny!!! Just when you get it exactley like you wanted it you see something new and everything else needs to change to go with the new thing you bought. Heck I took a part off my bike and now I am spending money because I took something off, go figure....

No. As long as there are parts that can be changed, changes will _need_ to be made.

I went to my local dealership yesterday and didn't buy a thing.
Ate a free hamburger, visited a little and left.
Seems to be the socializing place these days for my wife and me rather than the bar.

it will never end! i just tell the ol thats shes got as much or more in shoes and purses. she USUALLY leaves me alone. of course i dont tell her it was a 300.00 seat, what she hears is it was only 150.00.
if im not adding parts and gadgets on the one ive got now im buying different bike, which will require some sort of parts/gadgets. then i buy another which requires parts/gadgets. then i buy another which requires parts/gadgets. then i buy another which requires parts/gadgets. then i buy another which requires parts/gadgets. then i buy another which requires parts/gadgets. then i buy another which requires parts/gadgets. then i buy another which requires parts/gadgets. then i buy another which requires parts/gadgets on and on and on it goes

Actually, it is a good question. It's kinda like being in love, you do foolish things. I don't know about the rest of you but often times I sit in the garage and just look at this magic carpet of a machine a re-live the thousands of miles I have traveled and all the good times I have had and the people I have met a long the way on her. So, it is just natural you want to do sometime special to the machine to make her even more yours. I don't think you ever get to the point the machine is all done or doesn't need something else. It's more a function of your wallet than anything else. It more of an emotion than functionality. Does it ever end, I don't think so for many of us. And, if we get to that point, then we buy another bike and start all over again making it ours all over again. I must say however, at 70 years old, I have never met a better group of people who love what they do as much as Harley riders. Kinda nice to be a part of it all.
