Finally! After 11 months and 14,000 miles I have shucked the binds of stockness from my poor ol' '06 RK Classic. I put Vance and Hines Fishtail IIs, PCIII and SE intake on Tuesday afternoon. Stock headers. It's loud enough, believe me, I couldn't imagine it with true duels.
Then I took it out for a spin on I-95 and had a grin on my face so wide it must have looked silly. I still have to tune the low throttle positions (getting some popping on decel and a little ka-chug on initial roll-on) but the power difference is obvious.
This is the longest I had gone with a stock Harley and I hope to never go back to that restricted madness ever again.
Just did same, LOUD I LOVE IT!!!! son says it sounds like our old criscraft boat we use to have. first I thought it was too loud but 2 days later I wouldnt change a thing. I already had pc111 and a/c done and was running pythons. dealer just did 95" upgrade and put muffs on at the same time and dynod.
I am a happy camper.
