I haven't done a thing this winter to the bike. The first trip planned is early may. I have the amp on a shelf and not a clue of which speakers the impulse will buy and a simple desire for a zumo that I can do without. All I need to do to the bike is ride and that's all that I am looking forward to do.
a buddy and i need to finish some work on a friends bike before he can ride, and me for that matter. as soon as is bike comes off the lift mine goes up for some new cams and a big bore kit, also have to install the quick release for the tour pak. hope parts come in soon i am getting such an ich to ride, guess i will have to ride the wife's bike until mine is done.
I need to finish bolting on all the things I got powdered gloss black. All the wrinkle and flat stuff is done (engine covers and exhaust). Also need to rebuild the forks with the gloss black lowers. Should have all that stuff back this weekend (fingers crossed). Just finished up the inner fairing, gauges and radio. Have to install the new idle cable, just came in the mail today. Also should get the Yaffe Stealth 3 plate on Tuesday. Then it needs a wash and wax and I'm all set! For now...
I'm pretty much done. 107 top end, with 10.75 pistons and ported heads, TW8 cams, new lifters and pushrods, 30t trans pulley, Barnett clutch spring and AIM vpc, Yaffe monkey bars, braided stainless clutch and throttle cables and brake lines, cvo style passing light mounts, pulled the PCV/autotune and reinstalled narrow band O2 sensors, and loaded up a SERT map.
Sent the SERT interface in for upgrade to tts, it should be arriving tomorrow, then I can start V-tuning. Pretty much does it for me this winter. I've ridden the bike a bit, still needs tuned, but it's definitely got a lot more punch.
Waitin' for few parts being powder coated, parts from dealer & installing RK custom rear fender on my RK standard, change oil & I'm ready. Mother Nature needs to cooperate.
