I am reading several threads on the wobble and balancing tires. Does anyone have knowledge of the wobble and dyna beads? Would the beads contribute or increase/decrease the probability of having an episode?
I put Metzlers on my 2010 Ultra Limited last year and the indy had to put 3 weights on the front to balance it. Those weight are gone now and he complained that there wasn't a good flat surface to put them on. He is balking at rebalancing it, even though I am the one that takes them off and puts them back on.
I will look into buying my own balancer.
I would put beads in and forget about it. The "wobble" folks talk most about was characteristic of pre 09 bikes. 09 and newer touring bikes have a different frame design, I have not experienced any bagger wobble with my 2010.
If you do the beads on a 2010 touring bike, two ounces of beads front and rear.
