So today I was out on a ride on the freeway and experienced a crazy wobble to entire ride. It wasnt that windy maybe 6 mph winds. Everytime I got up to 85-90mph I got a crazy wobble.
I've never experienced this before and it kind of freaked me out. Today I actually rode with my windshield on the bike (05 Road King), could this have caused some of this? Could it be my suspension in the rear? My tire psi was good (38psi in front and 40psi in rear). I just put some 14" apes on but my windshield is higher so I can guess that was the problem?
Laced or cast wheels? My '07 RKC had laced wheels and I got a wobble that turned out to be loose spokes on the rear rim. Trued the rim and wobble went away.
