anybody run the michelins on their touring bike.....pro----con.
cooked the dunlop in 8000mi. ran met880 on last bike but can get a deal if i try michelin?????????

My advice, stick with the Metzlers. I really believe they are about the best for your bike.

I may spoon a set of the Metz's on my bike when the time comes. I hate the stock Dunlops. No real problems with them but I do not like the fact that the sidewall is ribbed.

I just put a set of Contenental's on my bike, they are not on strike and they cost less. I have used Contenental's in the past and have always been very happy with them. I have only put 100 miles on them and they seem to handle better.
