Default AMS or SPECTRO

Looking for some input here. It's about that time to change the blood in the bike. I've been using full synthetic SPECTRO now for a few changes and have had no complaints. I've heard that they are a motorcycle only company and thats why their oil is better for the bike, but from my understanding AMS has a great product as well. Trying to get some input on peoples views on this. Basically is one better and then other or are they really just the same in a different container?

When you say AMS, I assume you are talking about amsoil? If so, I have used them both, and I don't really see a difference either way. I just filled mine back up with Spectro in all three holes. I have never had a heat issue with either one.

I use Spectro Platinum in the Trans. Mobile 1 V Twin in the Crank and Rev-Tech in the Primary.
That combo has served me well for years.

Any quality lube ( Mobile 1, Amsoil, Spectro etc.) for the right application will do you fine.

Use whatever you feel comfortable with. Gear oil in the tranny helps the clunk. Rotella t 15w-40 has the JASO stamp so it's wet clutch approved and oil is oil. Change it regularly. Your bike isn't gonna notice a difference
