Default Need help for this one...

I want to mount my "lucky silver dollar" on my 2001 road king in place of the stock tank panel washer, but I don't want to drill a hole through the middle of it. Anyone have some clever ideas, or should i just keep it in my pocket

Keep it in your pocket. Why take a chance with the idiots that may want it and not care what they do to your bike...

3M double stuck tape available at most auto parts stores or JB weld.

I would think that you would always want "luck" to be with you even when you are not on the bike.

Do you think that if I used JB Weld, that I would be able to pry it off if i need to get to the console screw?

Nope. Not without ruining the console.

Double sided tape. 3m automotive.

If you glue it to the screw. Not sure if you could get it tight enough.

Just a thought, the tape used on the visor for side windows on cagers is pretty strong. I could be wrong but I think it is 3M Adhesive as others have advised. If it is strong enough to keep the viosr on at highway speeds, I would think it would be strong enough for what you want. But as others have said why risk some jerk messing up your bike. Put it in your pocket and luck will always be with you.

Drill baby, drill. I think it would look very cool.

I think that if you drill it you run the risk of damaging the lucky part. I would keep it in your pocket.

Maybe a screw type money clip bezel, drill a hole through the clip part bolt or screw it in place then mount the coin in the bezel and tighten the little screw on the ring, It would be hard to steal.
