Sent my radio to them on a Monday for repair (display out) and a back light conversion. Received a call on Friday saying the job was complete they specified what was wrong (water damage/vibration) and what could have been the root cause, they also suggested I check the fairing mounts (already had) 3 of the 4 were busted, the radio was holding up the fairing on the triple trees. The explained all the modifications they did as part of their service. they also sent me a copy of 2010 HD service bulletion about handle bar clamp bolts being to long causing CD skips and radio vibration damage? (thanks HD????).
Got the radio back on Tuesday, installed last night works great! Very pleased with their service and communication.
PS. Since I have a blue bike and blue leds the blue back lighting on the radio is sweet.
They also told me never to use just velcro with anything to the top of the radio either, as it will also cause more vibration.
They recomended using zip ties with the velcro to hold it tight.
I had an amp velcroed to the top of mine.
