I am looking at Street Glide CVO and have a few questions. 1. Is it unrealistic to expect to pay msrp or do all dealers seem to jack up price above msrp? Seems like this may be dealer by dealer - with a little research can I get a 2012 at msrp? 2. My local dealer just took a 2011 w/ 5k miles on trade and asking full 2012 msrp - and does not seem willing to budge much. I would consider buying this bike but seems out of line to pay full 2012 retail for a 2011 model w/ 5k miles (no after market adds). Am I out of line?

Thank you for inputs and comments.

Wow, I thought at or above MSRP was a thing of the past. Even in Milwaukee the dealers will give a little. And a used bike at new price isn't worth it to me.

Of course it's all what YOU are willing to pay, not me.

If you buy anything from a dealer, you are throwing your money away...last year I decided to replace my old 57 pan,. I wanted a 09 or better for the frame.....dealers were offering 06 and 07 s with 20000 miles in the 18 19 k range. I bought a 09 egs with security, abs and cruise, for 13,5 with 9500 miles, stage 1 with rineharts, and quick disconnect rear accessories....mnot one scratch....other deals were available for less, but I had to drive farther..get the cash, buy from a person who needs to sell , you will both do better than going to a stealer.....

Since no one answered your actual question, yes you should be able to find a CVO at MSRP. Although it seems like there always happens to be a favorite color that everyone wants & those sometimes get jacked up, both new & used. It the law of supply & demand just like it was 10 or 15 years ago.
