Here is how you measure the runout on a rotor. We check every single one before it leaves the shop.

One good, hard stop on the stock rotors will heat them up enough to warp them.

Harley makes decent floating rotors. I have a set and they've held up well. They were around $350 shipped (the pair) from eBay dealer.

You better take a good look at your paint before you drop it off. If those guys get any of that DOT 4 fluid on your paint...it's gonna leave a mark. But, even if they do spill it on your paint, they won't admit it and you won't be able to prove anything. So it's a roll of the dice with dealer service these days. Best to get the manual, the tools, and do it yourself. JMHO.
