I have the stock seat on my 2011 RG. Did 3000 hwy miles first 5 days I owned it. Very happy with the stock seat. The fellow I got the bike from told me it was an 80 mile seat, go figure.
I'm gonna try the Mean City Seat. The price is right and they get good reviews and seem like good folks. I'd like to get a different backrest! My grip ain't what it used to be,(arthritis) and the HD backrest is a pain to install and remove.
I think anyone that has tried a Russell Daylong agrees it's the best seat out there. I have a Mustang Supertouring. It's pretty good, but no Russell.
+1....
Russell Day Long has been on my 2005 Ultra since I bought it new. Just had it rebuilt after 50K miles and it is awesome. No butt burn, no shifting, and at the end of a long, looooooong ride (or week of riding) I'm ready to do it all over again.
Custom built, awesome customer service, and great follow up.

Another happy RDL customer. I've spent way more than the cost of the Russell trying other seats, but was never satisfied. The RDL is by far the most comfortable seat I've tried for long distance riding.
If you are interested, Dennis Kirk has Mustang seats on sale right now. Just ordered me a new seat. Been using the stock, want more comfort and to be able to put a backrest on. Should be here Wens.
