2007 96 a motor & 2008+ 96 a differences

I was looking around on Ebay at several new 96a takeouts and they mention they are for 2008 and up.

What changed between a 96 inch motor on a 2007 and a 96 inch 2008 which is significant and won't allow them to interchange?

Anybody know?

Engine mounts and a frame change I believe. 2007s are three point and the newer ones are four. I'm sure they may be some more differences too.

Frame changed in '09. As far as I know, '07 and '08 are identical motors

A few changes were made in'08 ahead of the major frame changes in '09.
I believe the motor mounts change in '08. Fuel tank and seat also are '08-up.

08 Motor has the patented turbo foo foo valve that allows the bike to attain 215mph two up.

The change from '07 to '08 is just the addition of the 6 gal tank on the '08, & the resulting difference in the seats. The '08 is kind of an orphan when it comes to seats. Only seat pans designed for that year really fit.

ABS was also added in '08, but it didn't make any changes to the frame.
