I would not by a cvo for the 110 motor, if you like all the gaga, and paint cool, just don't make the 110 as a selling point, or you'll be disappointed.
No regrets over buying my 11 CVO Ultra. Worth every penny. I plan to keep mine forever and there's not much I plan on doing to it. Love all the small extras that come with the bike. The 110 motor is no hotter than my 03 Ultras was....

Sounds just like my buddy that just picked up a 12 CVO less than a month ago. Keeping it for ever and its perfect as is he says. It was new and stock, and couldn't hang with my 96 modded with cams. I tried telling him his is still EPA and just needed a free flowing headpipe and a good non-EPA tune. His first 1000 mile service he had the dealer do pistons, cams, D&D fatcat with ghost pipe and the SE tuner.
I don't can how much you spend on a bike, you'll always want more!
My buddy reports no issues with his 12 CVO, great looking bike with all the cool gadgets. He just wished it had more power stock and fixed that issue!

I used to do track days on a GSXR1000 that wanted to lift the front tire at 150 MPH, so I've had one of the fastest bikes a person can have and know what speed is all about.
To me, getting another ten or twenty HP out of a Harley doesn't matter as I'm not ever planning on racing anyone. I thought my TC88's were fine in the power department, so the 110's increased HP and TQ are just a bonus....

I rode this 2012 CVO and there is a difference between 110 and the '09s 96-H. And the engine didn't seem to be working as hard at high speeds. In Arizona there is a lot of highways with speed limits of 75mph, so you better be cruising at 80 or everyone will be passing you. Yes, I've heard the 103 is the best engine Harley makes... If this deal falls through maybe I'll look at a 2012 Ultra Limited as an option...
Want to ensure I was accurately stating my thoughts. The 110 motor is a great motor, and way better torque/HP wise than my 88 or 96, or any of the 96's I've rented. I've cruised all day long at 80 on the CVO without breaking a sweat. Love the 110, even completely stock.
