Naw just mounted with the bolts, I think I will enevtually, and just repaint all the silver from the pinstripe down. Thanks yours has inspired this one.
Thanks. I wish I'd gone farther with the wheels like you did. Didn't have the cash though. You got a screamin' deal on those!
You might consider polishing the fork lowers if you don't wanna spring for chrome. There's a good thread on it here somewhere. $20 in supplies and an afternoon of rubbing and they look pretty darn good.
This is without the LED bolts, there pretty slick, i got em at wal-mart. Nice little LED inside the bolts head, spliced em into the tip light so they come on with ignition. Klock Werks Curcvaceous Upper Fillers, they come with everything you need to remove the rear license plate / grab bar.
Yeah that looks great man. Another thing you may want to consider is a short mounting bar for your rear signals. It's cheaper than putting on Street Glide stuff and makes the bar look less obtrusive IMHO.
Well Done, add the Chrome Front forks and Chrome Cowbells and that would complete the front end so nice. On a budget, you can exchange them with Humberto www.ippworks.name....Impress plating-polishing....Very nice or www.willyshiny.com. I used Humberto and was very easy to deal with. Or buy HD when on sale...Good luck, D
A great looking bike that is distinctive without going overboard.
I have several projects to do but can't do them yet. In 07 I told my wife I would finish the basement. Bought all the material. Flooring, ceiling, studs, paneling, wiring, can lights, switches, outlets, doors and glass block for the windows.
Well, she suggested that since I had every thing that I wanted in the garage she would hire a contractor to come in and do it. It has been 10 weeks now working every day and and I'm down to doing the flooring and trim work.
By the end of the month I should have it. I don't think five years is too long for a project.
I have missed many extraordinary warm sunny days riding this March so far. What I won't do to keep her happy!
Thanks, chrome lowers would be nice, honestly though ive done all this on the cheap (relativley) Its my first scoot, im only 23 just tryin to make it my own. Got front and rear wheels, with the matchin rotors for a grand (used).
Well that's a great deal...We all do what we can, when we can. It's lookin' great.
