I have an 08 ultra and when you get into the throttle the radio fades out and when you let up comes right back to where it was if you don't get into the throttle and go throght the gears easy it dosen't effect the radio. I checked to see if the AVC was turned on and it was not. Any guesses as to what it could be.

 

Check the charging system under load?
