The Limited is a great bike and like others have already said, it's pretty tough to not smile while you're on it.
As another guy coming off of years of European bikes (Austrian and Italian in my case) it's a big transistion but you're going to love it. Even my wife loves the Limited which I didn't see coming...
Enjoy
Goes to show though how much tastes is involved, when the front fender trim and saddlebag guards are things that got mentioned as swing votes.
I've always look at the bag guards as being a "good" thing. ...and anyone that has seen one of our lovely big bikes laying on it's side will agree they do serve a purpose.
Well, at least you got the driving lights in front, unlike our SG brethren. Now it's time to break out a few pesos and make it yours. Here's a little list.

Multiple hundreds of dollars for Mama's new wardrobe.
+1 on fredneck harley....they are good folks ...and the free food ain't bad either...and that goodness you got off that
beemer, for some reason they turn (almost) everyone that drives them into aholes...
Can't say I met anyone I would classify as an Ahole on one (I'm sure there are though), but they definitely seem to attract a "strange" crew. Most were friendly I ran into, but definitely not who I would hang out with. I let the BMW go because it was just too cramped for her and I on longer trips. Day trips were fine, but we were squirming by the time we got back from multi-day trips. I rented a 'Wing, and it was a nice bike, but just didn't do it for me like the Harley did.

No denying the function of them, and they wouldn't have stopped me from buying an UC. I still think they are fine looking bikes.
