Need Prayers Please !!

MONDAY MARCH 26th, 2012

Well,.....Brandi had a GREAT day !! Was awake, alert, talkative, ate well, etc.......
Then...................when afternoon arrived, her head began to hurt more, and she was in a very confused state. Don't know if her brain just over did it today , or what .
She thought that Brian & Kearsi (my daughter), were adopting Brianna's baby( daughter's friend)...............WOW
Thought she was in a clinic placement building................
Wanted to go outside for a smoke..............
Didn't believe that she wasn't allowed out of bed.................
When she has these episodes, she's very combative and argumentative too.
She knows when her brain is confused,...........because she always says that she has tunnel vision, and feels very confused. I'll have to talk to the neuro-surgeon and see what it all means. Probably just a result of the brain injury, and will have to work through it.
I fed her ALL of her spaghetti, a few bites of veal, a couple bites of breadstick, and ALL of her peaches !!! Also drank a whole bottle of Ensure .
The nurses let me stay past 6, so I can feed her. She eats a LOT for me, as opposed to them. So ,......it's a win/win situation.
She took her meds when I left, and nurse Kara B wanted her to take a nap and rest her brain.
Will go back in 45 minuites, ( at 8PM ), to get her tucked in for the night.

Like everyone else said, I pray that all will work out. Unbelievable how life can change in an instant. Something we all have to remind ourselves about.
