DAMN Clutch Cable!!
Well I put the PYO 10" bars on my 09 SG and it made the clutch cable too tight so I bought a Magnum black braided line from Dennis Kirk in a 4" over flavor. Put it and ran it just like the factory one was run (I think)......engine side of crash bar then up through the backside of the triple trees. Made one run bout 700 miles and got home and the cables sheath was rubbed through all the way to the braided center where it meets the back side of the triple trees!! WTF? There is nothing mechanically wrong with it but it looks like crap if your looking up under there.
I guess the only thing to do it put a piece of rubber hose around it and zip tie it. Anyone got a quick pic that would show how there factory line is run up in that area??
