picking up a hammock seat tomorrow off craigslist. 400 miles on it. My mustang vintage solo looks cool and is good for local but I can't go more than 120 miles and I have to get off. I did the 1000 miles in 2O hours and learned to hate my seat. Love the built in back rest.

 

I bought the ultimate seat(2 piece set) for my RK soon after I got the bike. My seat has yet to get sore and I have heard no complaints from passengers. Not cheap, but was worth the investment for me.

Another Mean City Cycle recommendation...........they will modify your seat to fit your needs, give them a call.

 

you might consider having MeanCity do some comfort mods on your stock seat .

way way cheaper than buying a seat , talk to them on the phone tell them what you want done and get a quote.

i sent my stock FLHRC seat to be narrowed and lowerd and MemoryFoam added. came back looking super nice and very comfey . 500 mile days NP.

shipping USPS with insurance there was only $18.50 and Allen FedEX back for $15 .

total cost just under $150 THRIFTY!
