Camshaft sprocket question

Camshaft sprocket question
I have 103 build, going with Andrews 54 cams should I go with the camshaft sprocket +4 or not. I'm know I have 10:1 Compression but after head work think its 10.25:1 going to check before I do anything else. Just want to know will the +4 push my compression higher them I need or want. Or will it kick my torque up better.

If you have a good tuner in your area you should be ok. For my preference that is on the edge for heavy bikes, but I'm probably considered conservative when it comes to comp. With the gas available today (not going to get better in the future) you have to pull timing out of the higher comp. motors to prevent pinging so I like to stay a little softer and let it have more timing, if fuel does get worse you have room to work with. I'm sure most everyone here will disagree with this but for me I'll give up a couple HP for a user friendly build.
