On a trip with my 13 day old 2012 FLHTCU and today I noticed my stock A/C cover was blue an very hot.
Sound normal or? My 08 never did this.

Definately not normal. I was riding today (shorts) noticed my ac got a little warm but after I started moving it quickly cooled down. "Blue" !!!!

 

Completely stock.

I'll take a pic tomorrow when home from trip or at a gas stop then post it.

 

Is the bike running OK?

 

Like a champ, pings more than my 08 ever did which means octane or lean so I figure when I map it it'll fix it.
Good to know I can complain to dealer as its not normal. My R muffler is turning gold so it is running hot IMO.

 

Take your bike as soon as possible to your dealer, you have a lean running issue that needs immediate attention. With what you describe, this is not normal and will end up with replacing the motor.

 

Hard to tell but it's blue and was crazy hot.

 

Are you sure you are not seeing the reflection of the back side of the blue exhaust in the ac ??
