I put a stainless washer without sharp edges in. The sharp corners on the light bar dig the paint right out. I had one loosen up once and before I knew it water was getting under the paint and bubbling it out.

When I did my swap to relocate the Billboard I put a bead of silicone around them holes and let it set up overnight. Then I used a pair of star washers to keep it tight....it ain't moving......

I use a chrome washer with a piece of rubber between the washer and the fender. make the rubber part with a gasket punch. looks better than factory, and adds more support.....snip

Just something that should be checked every so often and you shouldnt have an issue. Just like anything other fastener........They should be checked every now and then to ensure they are tight.

I removed mine altogether. Never liked the way it looks. I use the tourpack lights as turn signals as well as brake lights. Cleaner look imo.
