15 amp radio memory fuse
I have an 06 street glide that just started blowing the 15 amp memory fuse for the radio. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before? I have not taken the outer fairing apart yet to take a look at the wireing. I figured before I did that I would come here. Also I have not done any mods recently. Thanks

If you are blowing a 15 amp fuse, then you have something shorting to ground. See if there is anything else being fed from this fuse and trace some wiring. Something may have worn through over time and is now taking the circuit to a direct ground short.

Ok thanks joe. I'll check to see if there is anything else fed by that fuse. Everything else seems to be working fine though. I found a couple people have having problems with the wires rubbing under the fairing on one of the brackets. So I guess I'll start there? Thanks

I had the same thing with mine and when i removed the outer fairing i could smell that electrical insulation burning smell that we all fear. Took a while, but finally found it like you said. It was on the left (while sitting on bike) fairing bracket. Wire was not damaged so i cut a chunk of shrink wrap and zip tied it arounf that wire. At the same time have a few minutes and do the same with others that look like they might do the same thing someday. Hope this helps
