Edit: My Ign. Switch won't lock in the "Lock" Position!
OK guys, in an earlier Thread, I stated that my 2010 Ultra won't lock in the "Acc." Position. I knew what I meant but didn't say it! It won't lock in the "Lock" position.(Straight Down). The key will turn to the Locked setting, but you can still turn the ignition switch and start it, but it rotates with friction, as if it's partially locked. I can still Lock the bike in the Fork Lock Position, no problem there. Also, I've never had it apart, so I know it's not an assembly error by me, and it locked as recently as a week or two ago. Any ideas on this one?
Turn the ignition **** all the way to the left, not straight down. When you have it turned all the way to the left then push the key down and turn it to lock, turning only the key, not the ignition ****. Does that work?

The ignition switch is centered in the off position where you could turn it one notch to the acc. position or one more notch to start the bike. I want it to lock so that you can't turn it to start it. I can fork-lock it, but it won't lock in the "off" position.

Not going to happen. It is not designed to lock in that position. It has to be turned all the way to the left so you can lock the forks. If it ever works in any other position, then you have a problem.
