I have been interested in a set of exhuast headers, in particularly, Fuel Moto's
stainless steel header. You can get an optional ceramic coating...
What are the benefits to this? Corrosion resistance? Cooler temperatures?
I ordered a set of ceramic coated headers from Fuel Moto and have been waiting nine weeks so far. They told me when I placed my order it would be a 10-12 week delay. I don't mind waiting for a great product.
I chose to order the ceramic headers to lower the heat in the headers. From what I have read and researched, this option works best for me.
I had a set of headers coated inside and out a few years ago and I was amazed how much less radiated heat there was on the outside. The experts say that it also helps the exhaust flow as well.

Yep. I wouldn't run any headers that are not ceramic coated inside and out. Huge drop in temps!
