Default Ceramic Coating??

I have been interested in a set of exhuast headers, in particularly, Fuel Moto's
stainless steel header. You can get an optional ceramic coating...
What are the benefits to this? Corrosion resistance? Cooler temperatures?

Thanks...

less heat radiates off the pipe. The FM pipe is stainless so no real corrosion consideration.

Be prepared for a multi-week wait.

Yep...You are gonna wait a bit but they are GREAT head pipes. I had a set on my last bike and will probably put a set on my RKC soon...

I ordered a set of ceramic coated headers from Fuel Moto and have been waiting nine weeks so far. They told me when I placed my order it would be a 10-12 week delay. I don't mind waiting for a great product.

I chose to order the ceramic headers to lower the heat in the headers. From what I have read and researched, this option works best for me.

They said call for prices...so I'm assuming the are very pricey...$500-600?
Just a ball park figure would help.

They are great looking pipes...

I had a set of headers coated inside and out a few years ago and I was amazed how much less radiated heat there was on the outside. The experts say that it also helps the exhaust flow as well.

Heat is now moving down the pipes a lot faster and cools down unbelievably quicker too.

Don't feel that intense heat in my lap or legs any more.

I waited three months last year... that was a long wait during the summer months.

I've had the same result. Calico Coatings did my Supertrapp Supermeg 2-1 last year, $103.00 and it took about a week.

Yep. I wouldn't run any headers that are not ceramic coated inside and out. Huge drop in temps!
