Mine was very tight when I put floorboard extensions on. I put some elbow grease on it and it broke free. But as said above there is only one hole at the rear

I have used this trick and it has worked a treat for me. Get hold of a good sized plumbers iron used for soddering copper pipes.

Not sure about applying heat after using penetrating oil though, could end with a fire on your hands......

Sounds like you don't have access to the right tool? I'd soak it overnight in PB Blaster or equivalent and borrow a 1/2 drive socket wrench set up. You will be hard pressed to break that loose with just a hand held allen.

Don't use a piece of pipe on a ratchet handle ... this is a quick way to hurt yourself ... the added leverage generally results in the ratchet head breaking, along with pieces of your fingers suffering also ... If you feel added leverage will help in loosening the bolt use a breaker bar.

Get yourself the socket allens. I have the ball end sockets in short and long; which are a life saver. You may need to use an extension and or swivel and come in from the other side to access the area. The recommendation for PB Blaster or liquid wrench overnight is a good one.

Glad to hear you got it loose. In the future, or for anyone else with a hard to reach bolt problem, these come in handy. I bought the 7 piece set from Amazon for about 35 bucks.
